However you identify, and wherever you are on your journey, you belong. These are independent organisations that exist to support our community — free, confidential and on your side.
Coming out, at your pace
There's no timeline and no "right" way to come out — or not to. It's yours to decide: who, when, whether, and how. If you want to talk it through with someone who gets it, peer-support lines and youth services can help you think it through safely and without pressure.

Community & social groups
Connection beyond the app matters — community centres, social groups, sports clubs and Pride networks are great ways to meet people with no pressure. Here's where to start in Ireland and how to find groups near you.
Hate crime & discrimination
Homophobic, biphobic and transphobic abuse — online or in person — is never acceptable, and in many places it's a crime. If you're targeted, your safety comes first. You can report to police, and to specialist services that record incidents and support you through it. Keep evidence (screenshots, messages, dates) where it's safe to do so.
You can also report abuse that happens inside CruiseCtrl from the person's profile or chat (reporting also blocks them) — see Reporting & blocking.

Your legal rights (EU)
EU law protects you from discrimination based on sexual orientation in areas like employment, and member states have their own equality protections on top. In Ireland, equality legislation and the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission can help if you've been discriminated against. These organisations explain your rights and how to enforce them.
