Good connections are built on respect — for yourself and the other person. This page brings together consent, identity and safety resources so you can meet people in a way that feels good and stays safe.
Consent & boundaries
Consent is an ongoing, enthusiastic yes — freely given, specific, and able to be withdrawn at any time. It can't be assumed from a profile, a chat, or a previous hook-up, and it can't be given by someone who's asleep or too intoxicated to choose. Talking about what you're into (and what's off the table) before you meet makes everything better, not more awkward. Your boundaries are valid, full stop — and so are theirs.

Trans & non-binary resources
Trans and non-binary people are a valued part of this community. Whether you're questioning, transitioning, or simply looking for affirming support and information, these organisations are led by and for trans people and their allies.

Meeting safely & harm reduction
Meeting someone new should be exciting, not risky. A few simple habits keep you in control: verify who you're talking to, tell a friend where you'll be, meet in public first where you can, and trust your gut — you can always leave. If chems are part of the picture, harm-reduction services can help you stay safer. And if anyone pressures you, threatens to share images, or tries to out you, that's abuse — don't pay, keep evidence, and report it.
Being threatened or blackmailed (sextortion)? Stop contact, don't pay, screenshot everything, and report — in-app, to safety@cruisectrl.eu, and to the Gardaí (112/999). You haven't done anything wrong, and help is available.
