Community Guidelines

LAST UPDATED: 13 JUNE 2026 · VERSION 2.0

CruiseCtrl works because people treat each other like adults and like humans. These rules apply everywhere on CruiseCtrl — profiles, photos, Voice Vibes, chats, and Beacons. Breaking them can cost you your content or your account (see "How we enforce" below).

Be real

Be respectful

Health & HIV status

Health information, including HIV and testing status, is sensitive and private. Sharing it is always the individual's choice. We never use it to shame, harass or discriminate, you can't search or filter people by it, and we never sell it or share it with advertisers. (See our Privacy Policy.)

Never allowed

Nudity & explicit content

Public-facing areas (profile photos, Radar cards, Beacons) must be non-explicit: no exposed genitals, erections, sexual acts, bodily fluids or pornographic poses. In private 1:1 chats and opt-in, age-gated private albums, nudity between consenting adults is allowed — but only with consent, and the bans above (anything involving minors, non-consensual or illegal content) apply everywhere, including private channels. Explicit options are off by default and available only to verified 18+ members who opt in.

How we enforce

We use a mix of automated detection and human review, and we aim to act on reports — typically within 24 hours. Enforcement is proportionate and usually graduated: a warning, then content removal, then temporary suspension, then a permanent ban. Severe violations (anything involving minors, non-consensual intimate images, credible threats, sexual violence, sextortion) can mean an immediate ban. Serious safety risks and illegal content are escalated immediately and may be reported to law enforcement.

If we action your content or account, we give you a clear statement of reasons and, except where the law prevents it, the chance to appeal to a reviewer who was not involved in the original decision.

Reporting

Every profile and conversation has Report and Block tools — please screenshot evidence first where you can. You can also email safety@cruisectrl.eu, our point of contact for reporting illegal content. We confirm we've received your report and tell you what we decided. Ireland's online-content regulator is Coimisiún na Meán.
