1. What this covers
"Cookies" here means cookies and similar technologies — including your browser's local storage and any third-party SDKs — that store or read small amounts of information on your device.
2. What we use
By default the CruiseCtrl website uses only strictly necessary storage to run the site — it remembers that you confirmed you're 18+ and your cookie choice. With your consent we also use privacy-friendly analytics to understand usage and improve the app — this loads only if you accept (see §3). We do not use advertising or cross-context behavioural-advertising cookies, and we never sell your data.

3. Categories & consent
If we add anything beyond the essentials, it falls into these categories and we will ask for your consent first — it will only load after you accept:
- Strictly necessary (always on) — needed to run the site; exempt from consent.
- Functional / preferences (consent required) — remember settings.
- Analytics (consent required) — help us understand usage to improve the app. Loaded only after you accept.
- Advertising — we do not use these.
4. Managing your choices
When you first visit we show a banner where Reject non-essential is as easy as Accept all. You can change your choice anytime via Cookie settings in the footer, or through your browser settings. We'll ask you to confirm your choice again periodically (about every six months). Rejecting non-essential cookies won't stop the site working.
